The reorganization of the Asia-Pacific CSD Group (ACG)

The reorganization of the Asia-Pacific CSD Group (ACG) has been finalized and was implemented on 3 December 2010 at the 14th ACG General Meeting in Mumbai, India. The reorganization of ACG was conducted with an aim to increase the efficiency and vitality of internal and external activities of ACG under a consistent policy. In the new structure, the Executive Committee is established and tasked with ensuring the efficient and consistent implementation of ACG activities from a medium-term perspective. The Executive Committee will fulfill its responsibility over the course of its three-year term in cooperation with the Annual General Meeting Management Team and Task Forces as necessary. The first members of the Executive Committee are: Central Depository Company of Pakistan Limited (Pakistan) China Securities Depository and Clearing Corporation Limited (China) Japan Securities Depository Center, Inc. (Japan) *Secretariat Korea Securities Depository (Korea) National Securities Depository Limited (India) Singapore Exchange (Singapore) Vietnam Securities Depository (Vietnam) In addition, from the Executive Committee Members, Mr. Yoshinobu Takeuchi, President & CEO of Japan Securities Depository Center, Inc. was elected as the Executive Committee Chairman and will lead its activities.
