On April 16, the CSD9 Interim Meeting, coordinated by the Japan Securities Depository Center Inc. (Jasdec) was held in Tokyo, Japan. The meeting brought together representatives from Asia-Pacific Central Securities Depository Group (ACG), Americas’ Central Securities Depositories Association (ACSDA), African and Middle East Depositories Association (AMEDA), Association of Eurasian Central Securities Depositories (AECSD) and European Central Securities Depositories Association (ECSDA). Delegates from ACG, China Securities Depository & Clearing Corp. Ltd (SD&C, current ACG secretariat)., Singapore Exchange Ltd. And Central Depository Co. of Pakistan Ltd participated the meeting as delegates. Taiwan Depository & Clearing Corp（TSDC）and Thailand Securities Depositoory Co. Ltd. also joined the meeting as observers. This is the first CSD interim meeting held between CSD general meeting in a view to exchange information on the rapid development of the market as a supplement to the general meeting. Participants discussed possible collaborations in such areas as disclosure framework among regional CSD groups after each group updated their recent activities.
