Invitation: ACG 24th Cross Training Seminar in Hong Kong (23-26 July 2024)

It is our great honour to invite you and your delegation to the 24th Asia-Pacific Central Securities Depository Group Cross Training Seminar (ACG CTS), which will be held on 23-26 July 2024 in Hong Kong.

 

Hosted by Hong Kong Exchanges and Clearing Limited (HKEX), the theme of the 24th ACG CTS is “Advancing Financial Infrastructure Development and Cooperation in the Asia-Pacific Region”. The seminar will gather experts from central securities depositories to share insights, foster collaboration and discuss the latest advancements in financial products and services, technology, legal frameworks, and risk management.

 

2024 marks the 10-year anniversary of Stock Connect and as such, the seminar will also look at the achievements of this pioneering mutual market access programme and the insights gained for further innovation, partnership and connectivity in global markets.

Important Notes:

 

• The participants are responsible for processing their visa to Hong Kong (if required).

• Kindly allocate enough time for the processing of the request for visa assistance before your visa application schedule.

• Please contact and inquire directly to the Chinese embassy, consulate or the Immigration Department in advance regarding Hong Kong visa requirements and for further guidance.

• In general, all visitors to Hong Kong must have a passport valid for at least one month after their intended stay. Documents issued to stateless persons must be valid for at least two months after the intended stay.

• Working days refers to Mondays through Fridays (does not include weekends and holidays).

• Please note that 1 May , 15 May, 10 June and 1 July are Hong Kong Public Holidays.
